Due to the fact that Davos is located in the Swiss Mountains, the flight to Davos will mainly be under Visual Flight Rules (VFR). Should the weather conditions not be within the limitations, alternative ground transportation has to be considered? Driving time can then be 2½ up to 3 hours due to snow covered road conditions in the mountain region.
